Fairy-Tale Princess

Card #1
Card #2
Card #3

Here I am back again with another fabulous Fabrikfantasy Digi. This time I worked with royalty! This Fair-Tale Princess was a delight to color using my Copic Markers.

For card #1, I cut out the colored princess and adhered her to two pieces of card stock on a white base card. I embellished the card with two Adhesive Glitter Shapes from Recollections.

Cards #2 and #3 were made with a scan of the colored image placed in the Craft Artist 2 program. The princess was merged with parts from the Craft Scapes Stately Home digikit, for both cards.

Come again, I'm sure to have fun with another Fabrikafantasy image!

Beach Nanny 3D

The Beach Nanny image was created by Mo's Digital Pencil. This PNG image was placed in the Craft Artist 2 program and merged with the scenic background, which came with the Beach Baby image. I added a sailboat to the scene.

The scene was printed and colored using Prismacolor Pencils and a Prismacolor Blender marker. I scanned the colored scene back to the computer. Using the Craft Artist 2 edited image, I printed it twice and cut away the scene to have just the nanny and a bit of sand and towel .

I cut around the nanny, sand and towel for one print layer ad then cut mostly around the nanny for the top layer. I layered the pieces together with soft pads creating a 3D image.

This was such a fun card to work on.

Craft Store Find and Tattoo Cutie

Digistamps4joy shop
It's always fun to shop at the craft store with my friend. Although the store is around the corner and I go there often, when I am with Vickie we usually find something new and unusual to use in creating our cards. Well this last visit we found Recollections Decorate It Die Cut sheets. They come in paper pads of a couple of sizes and I bought the small 5"x7.5". The pad of 24 sheets has several cut designs in pink and green papers.
When I got home and wanted to use  sheet, I found they were slightly larger than my 5"x6.5" base card. I trimmed the edges on 3 sides and cut a strip near the middle of the die cut sheet. Then I covered the front of the base card with black card stock and adhered the 2 pieces of pink die cut to the black meeting near the middle. A pretty ribbon conceals the match up.

I decided this would be a lovely background for Digistamps4joy's new release Tattoo Cutie by Jen. Lovely Tattoo Cutie was colored using Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and a Prismacolor Blender Marker. I cut her out and adhered her to the background of the card using soft pad to give her a 3D look.

Would it be wonderful for this new digital to win in the challenge at Digistamps4joy? She very cute!

Keep Calm and Add More Lipstick! Freebie Friday Plus Challenge Team Card

Crafty Honey Ruler
Scrapper's Delights

You must have noticed that there are two cards at the top of this blog post. The first is the card for Freebie Friday April 15th and the second for the challenge blog - Mid Inspiration April 16th. I've left the Freebie Friday Team and have joined the challenge team! We'll talk about the Freebie Friday card first.

Ah it's Freebie Friday once again at Scrapper's Delights and these lipstick images plus lips is available for  group members of Scrapper's Delights on Facebook!

I chose to use 2 of the 3 images, which comes as  set for my Design Team inspirational card. They were colored using Prismacolor Pencils and a red metallic Gelly Roll Pen was used for the detail. The colored images were merged with an embossed background color, image and text. It was printed and a second set of lipstick images were printed and cut out and adhered to the top with soft pads to form a 3D image.

Get your Freebie by going to the group and asking for it. Follow up by showing off your finished project in the Facebook Group challenge for Scrapper's Delights. I'm looking forward to seeing all the wonderful creations!

My challenge team Mid Inspirational card uses three images designed by Janice for Scrapper's Delights. These are Crafty Honey Ruler, Room 2 and Craft Table. Each image was colored using Prismacolor Pencils. After coloring Room 2, I cut out the windows and taped a print of cloud paper behind it. All 3 colored images were placed in the Craft Artist 2 program and merged. Texted was added and the scene was printed. A second Honey figure was printed, cut and adhered to the scene with soft pads, forming a 3D image.

I hope you are inspired to try your luck in the challenge at Scrapper's Delights.

Pirate Parrot 1 Treasure Island
Pirate Parrot 1 with backing paper
I just became a member of the FabrikaFantasy Digi Design Team! I'm truly honored to have a place on the team. These digis are wonderful to print. They are clear and have nice crisp lines. The quality of these images is excellent.

I was so taken with the Pirate Parrots, that I just have to own all three. I've only just begun to use Copic Markers and have enjoyed working their magic on these fabulous images. I used the precolored dititals as my model.

Each digital stamp download includes 5 files:

1 colored image in .png format
1 black and white digital stamp in .jpg format

Frida Kahlo Mexican Artist

Frida Kahlo B54
Mari Digis Challenge Blog
I really enjoy making Design Team inspirational cards using images from history, especially art history. This is a Mari Digis Stamp of Frida Kahlo (B54). She was  Mexican self-portrait artist and is still admired as  feminist icon.

The image was colored using Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and a bit of metallic Gelly Roll pen. This colorful image was cut out and placed on soft pads. A printed card stock background was adhered to a base card and the image was placed on top giving the card design a 3D look. Dimensional flower stickers were add to embellish the card.
B54 Frida Kahlo
After working on this card, I decided it was a bit too plain for this artist's card and so I cut the front edge around the flowers and added a contrasting strip of scrapbook paper to the inside edge.
Frida and other fabulous images are available in the shop at Mari Digis.

I hope my card will encourage you to try your luck in the Mari Digis Challenge, where anything goes.
